The Democratic Alliance on Friday said that a R10 billion contract is the reason of the chaos taking place within South African Airways.

It is believed that the Department of Public Enterprise meddled with the process of the deal being secured.

DA Shadow Minister of Public Enterprise Natasha Michael said the DA called on parliamentary portfolio committee of public enterprises to be briefed by all role players involved in R10 billion.

Michael added that time has come for people to answer about why this deal went bad because this is the money of South Africans.
