Mitchell’s Plain police are probing a murder case after a 33-year-old woman was found dumped at Portland sports field on Monday.
The police’s Wesley Twigg said that officers found the
victim with gunshot wounds to the face and neck.
‘’The circumstances surrounding a shooting incident Monday
2022-10-10 at about 15:35 at a sport facility in Portlands, Mitchell's Plain…are
under investigation.’’
‘’The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical
personnel. The unknown suspect/s fled the scene and are yet to be arrested,’’
added Sergeant Wesley Twigg.
The police spokesperson said the motive for the attack is
unknown at this stage.
