A 53-year-old man bus driver was arrested for transporting 116 school children in a vehicle designed for 62 passengers on Wednesday.
Captain Bernadine Steyn said, “Traffic authorities saw the vehicle was overloaded and pulled him off the road. He was transferring passengers from school,"
He was charged with overloading and will appear in court later this month.
