Cape Town police have arrested two reservist constables.

It is alleged that the reservists threatened the accuser and demanded cash from him.

The two constables went with the man to an ATM at St George’s mall and withdrawn R900 from the man’s account.

By the help of a CCTV-footage the police could then identify the two reservist constables.

Police have now opened an investigation of extortion.
