Two foreign nationals accused for being in possession of pirated DVD’s were sentenced in the Laingsburg Magistrate Court yesterday.
Police officials say they acted on a tip-off received from the community and found the men selling 216 pirated DVD’s at R20 each.
The men were allegedly travelling from Cape Town.
John Kriss from Burundi and Iddy Mbarakus from Tanzania were sentenced to 3 years imprisonment with an option of a three thousand rand for each of them.
