Suspended chief executive officer Solly Mokoetle has resigned with immediate effect, the SABC has just announced.
Mokoetle was suspended because of not presenting a turn-around scheme for the SABC and for creating debate over the appointment of Phil Molefe as head of news.
The SABC has stated that all disagreement between Mokoetle and the corporation’s board have been sorted out.
The corporation refused to reveal the conditions of Solly Mokoetle resignation.
