Gauteng transport MEC Bheki Nkosi, visited drivers licence testing centres in Johannesburg today.
This follows an announcement last week announcement that the province’s centralised learners’ and driving licence call centre was no longer accepting bookings.
Many people queued at testing stations in Gauteng today.
Nkosi says people are happy to simply walk in and make bookings for themselves.
He added that the service provider’s call centre would be moved to his department to prevent further inconvenience.
