Its D-day for Cosatu affiliated unions and the Independent Labour Caucus.
Today they will be meeting at the Bargaining Council in Centurion to make an important decision on whether they will sign governments latest wage offer, or whether a strike will resume.
The strike was suspended on the 6th of September, which gave the union members 21 days to decide on the offer.
The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union (Nehawu) have already indicated that it is ready to sign.
The Public Servants Association’s Manie de Clercq said unions have been given until October 12 to sign the wage agreement.
