South African Businessman Patrice Motsepe is to donate R10 million to the Jacob Zuma Foundation over the next five years.
The foundation held a fundraising dinner in Durban last night.
Businessman Vivian Reddy also bought President Jacob Zuma’s t-shirt for R1million, which was auctioned during the dinner.
The foundation aims to help poor people with housing, education and clothes.
Reddy says he bought Zuma’s shirt because the ANC president had worn it during the election campaign that changed the South African political landscape.
