Eight year old in serious condition after accident

An eight-year-old-boy is in a serious condition after he was hit by a car along Lotus Road, Northdale, Pietermaritzburg yesterday afternoon.

Netcare 911’s Chris Botha said the exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

Botha added that when paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child lying on the ground.

Furthermore Botha said After they stabelised the injured boy medics transported him to the Northdale hospital for the care that he required.
