“The circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated and no one has been arrested yet,” Traut added.
A 10-year-old girl was on Sunday
evening killed by an unknown suspect who randomly opened fire on the road in
Wesbank, Mfuleni.
Police Spokesperson Andre Traut said
the motive for the killing is unknown at this stage but investigation into the
matter is continuing.
Traut said in the same incident four
adult males and one female were also wounded and admitted to hospital.
“The circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated and no one has been arrested yet,” Traut added.
