2 suspects arrested for possession of R20 000 worth of Marijuana

Two 36-year-old suspects have been arrested in Jeffrey’s Bay for being in possession of an estimated R20 000 of dagga as well as the cultivating of dagga plants.

Following up on information police searched the premises and found one kilogram loose dagga hidden in a fridge, several plants as well as equipment to cultivate the plants.

Warrant Officer Gerda Swart said they will be going to court on charges of the illegal possession of marijuana as well as the cultivation of marijuana plants.

“Police received valuable information and obtained a search warrant for the premises when they made the discovery” Swart added.
