Seven people were killed when they were struck by lightning in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday.
A team of disaster experts has been sent to northern KwaZulu-Natal to investigate the deaths of the people.
The family were struck by lightning in their house yesterday afternoon.
One person is in a critical condition and the details around the incident are not yet known.
Provincial MEC for Cooperative Governance, Nomusa Dube, said they will do all we can to help the survivors and to ensure that the deceased are honoured with a dignified burial.
