Three men arrested after they were found with perlemoen

Cape Town police have arrested three men after they were found with perlemoen worth more than 45-thousand-Rands.

The police and the department of fisheries arrested the men from Hout Bay when they spotted them dropping bags into the sea on a rubber ship with no lights.

The men aged between 20-and-33-years-old have been charged with possession of perlemoen and destroying evidence.

Police found four perlemoen on the boat and 42-more in the bags that were dropped in the water.
