DA blames the Minister for non-delivery of textbooks

The Democratic Alliance has expressed shocked over the non-delivery of textbooks at several Limpopo schools. 

DA’s Annette Lovemore says the Minister of Basic Education is the person who is responsible for ensuring that textbooks are delivered to learners on time. 

Meanwhile the Minister of Basic Education has demanded a full report on the matter so that appropriate steps can be taken.

Angie Motshekga says trusted service providers have left pupils in the lurch.

Annette Lovemore says an independent investigation is needed to ensure that this never happens again.
