The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is running a proud to serve campaign in Mitchells Plain.
The NYDA has identified 100 youth members in the community, who will actually give back to the community without expecting to receive in return.
The NYDA’s board chairperson Ghaliep Essop said the programme that they have identified is that ten houses has been identified where the youths will be building wheelchair ramps.
He added that the reason for this is that the disabled environment in South Africa is not in the ideal state that they would want it to be.
