Police are appealing to any one who might know the relatives of a two-year-old girl who survived the accident where five people died in Alberton to come forward.

Police said the child could not provide any information of her parents.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sergeant Mario Ness on 072 468 4136 at all hours.

Lieutenant Lungelo Dlamini explains that the accident happened in Alberton between a taxi and a VW Golf.

Dlamini added that at this stage it is unclear where the child and her parents were going but it is believed that they were going to the peace rally.

Furthermore Dlamini has asked for anyone with information to call the Police.
