This Morning Netcare Paramedics responded
to an accident scene on the corner of Witkoppen Road Malibongwe Drive
When they arrived they found that a minibus
had crashed into the back of a delivery vehicle.
Exact details of the accident are unclear
at this stage but police are investigating.
Netcare 911’s Santi Steinmann said one man
sustained critical injuries and was entrapped in the minibus and the Jaws of
Life had to be used to free the man.
Steinmann adds after the man was treated on
scene he was rushed to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical treatment he required.
Two men that were travelling at the back of
the delivery vehicle sustained serious injuries and they were also treated on
scene before being transported to the Netcare Olivedale hospital, said Steinmann
