WCED hopes to accommodate students attending an unregistered school

Western Cape MEC of Education Donald Grant said he hopes to settle issues regarding an unregistered school in Khayelitsha. 

About 100 pupils have been attending the unregistered school with parents claiming that there are no schools nearby and that the schools in the area are full.

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronagh Casey said previous calls and efforts took occurrence at this illegal school have been ignored. 

Casey added that the minister has indicate that should the need rise the WCED is prepared to pay suffient mobile classrooms at a primary school which is close to the area in question.

WCED is waiting for the feedback on the proposals in terms of putting new mobile classrooms at an interesting school.
