KZN police arrest 3 suspects for killing a taxi owner and driver

The KwaZulu Natal Police arrested three suspects who were alleged to have been involved in the shooting that left a taxi owner and driver dead in Groutville.

The suspects are aged between 27 and 50-years-old.

Colonel Jay Naicker said the three suspects will be charged for two murders, three attempted murders and for being in possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

Naicker said that when the suspects were arrested they were found in possession two R-5 rifles as well as a .38 revolver.

Naicker added that the suspects are currently in police custody pending their court appearance on Monday.
