ACDP calls on government to implement zero-tolerance anti-crime strategy

The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has called on government to implement zero-tolerance anti-crime strategy. 

This as five people died in gang-related shootings in Mitchell’s Plain over the weekend. 

ACDP Provincial leader Ferlon Christians said more staff is needed at police stations to cope with the work. 

Christians said government needs to step up against crime. We also ask government to make sure that there are fresh recruitment drive to increase the reservists police force.

“We need a strategy to combat this crime and government must be serious about crime, we cannot loose innocent children everyday due to crime.” Ferlon added.
