Six injured in Durban taxi crash

An accident left several people injured in a taxi crash along the N3 outgoing in Durban this afternoon.

It is alleged that the driver veered off the road and collided first with the barriers and then hit a light pole and a tree.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when they arrived on scene they found that whole side of the taxi was ripped off and six people were injured.

Botha added that they were all treated by paramedics at the scene and transported through to various hospitals for further medical care



Exact details to the cause of the crash will remain the subject of a police investigation.
