Taxi overturns leaving 12 injured

At least 12 people were injured when a taxi driver lost control his vehicle on Birdle Road in Kloof early this morning.

“ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the taxi on its roof.” ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.

“People were found on the side of the road. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that they had sustained minor to moderate injuries.” Chitra added.

All 12 received treatment and were transported to hospital.


The cause of the accident is unknown, however, local authorities were on scene to conduct further investigations.
