Police in the Western Cape have apprehended 484 suspects
from the period of 7-13 September 2015 for a wide range of crimes.
About 223 suspects were arrested
for possession of drugs, 64 were wanted suspects, 21 for crimes against women
and children and others for house breaking and theft.
Meanwhile, through
disruptive operations that have been executed, 197 arrests were executed.
About 589 800
millilitres of alcohol, mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of
5 025, Tik with an estimated street value of 14 700 and dagga with an
estimated street value of 1 715 were been confiscated.

Kuilsrivier Brigadier Vincent Beaton commended the police, metro police
services and others for the great work.
