Fraud charges were finally dropped against controversial businessman Sandile Majali by the Specialised crimes court.
The court dropped the charges after receiving Majaili’s death certificate, who was laid to rest at his home in the Eastern Cape over the weekend.
He was arrested in October last year after he hijacked the directorship of mining company Kalahari Resources along with seven individuals.
Majali was found dead in his room at the Sandton Quatermain Hotel in Johannesburg in December last year.
The cause of his death is still a matter of investigation.
