Lusanda Bill
27 November 2010
About 100 school children from Khayelitsha and Du Noon marched to Parliament today in support for the fight against domestic violence and abuse.
The children handed over a memorandum which highlighted the need for awareness around domestic violence.
Social Development MEC Patricia de Lille joined the march.
She has urged families in the Western Cape to stand up and say no to abuse at home.
This is all in support of the 16 Days of no Violence against Woman and Children.
