There are 72 hours until the deadline for tax submissions.
The South African Revenue Services has warned South Africans that offices will close as normal.
Over 3.5 million submissions have been made so far and another 1.2 million are expected by the end of the week.
SARS spokesperson Adrian Lackay said “We remind people to please visit our offices as early as possible if they do need assistance and not to wait for Friday, otherwise the queues will get longer and the public’s frustration will grow”.
Lackay added that no mercy for people who have not submitted their tax submissions by close of business on Friday.
