Murdered tourist, Anni Dewani’s father has refused to defend or attack his daughter’s widower Shrien Dewani.
When Vinod Hindocha was questioned by local newspapers if he believed his son-in-law was involved in his daughter’s murder, he answered “no comment”.
British newspapers quoted Hindocha saying his daughter was in tears and refused to sit next to Shrien Dewani on a plane when they left on their honeymoon.
He said he did not understand what was going on, he was told there two gunmen involved but more people have since been arrested.
Meanwhile, the three men accuse of murdering Dewani appeared in the Wynberg Regional Court earlier this week.
Magistrate Jackie Redelinghuys banned the publication of photographs identifying the suspects until an identity parade was done on Saturday, but failed to the photograph ban yesterday.
