The government presidential hotline will be going under a strict review.

The hotline which was launched last year in September is intended to give South Africans an easier access to government.

The minister in the presidency for performance and evaluation said yesterday that the rumours that are doing the rounds that the service would be shut down are not true.

Government wants the hotline to go under review in order to increase efficiency.
