The 28-year-old Gauteng alleged serial rapist who is facing 12 counts of rape appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court today for the second time.

Prosecutors revealed today that eight new counts have been laid against him.

He is accused of taking women to upmarket restaurants before luring them to sleazy hotels in central Johannesburg and raping them.

He was arrested in a house in KwaZulu-Natal earlier this month.

Prosecutors today told the court that an investigation was on going but they needed more time, as some victims were writing exams. The case has now been postponed until the 2nd of December.

It has been ordered by the magistrate that no more photographs must be taken of the alleged rapist.
