Amanda Reyneke was granted bail of R5000 bail for conspiring to kill Blue Bulls rugby player Deon Helberg in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Monday.
The 47-year-old will be heading to a mental institution voluntarily which she will be paying for herself.
As part of Reyneke’s bail, she is not to make contact with Helburg or his family.
Helberg allegedly had an affair with Reyneke, who is also her daughter's boyfriend.
She then allegedly hired two Nigerians to kill him but the men turned to the police to catch her.
Meanwhile, Helberg’s death was faked by showing her a fake picture of his body lying in a pool of blood.
The case was postponed until January 27, next year.
