Cape Town fires left about 70 people homeless

The City of Cape Town officials today are providing the necessary aide to people who were left homeless in shack fires across the City.

The fires on Tuesday left up to 70 people displaced in four separate infernos.

The fires occurred in Khayelitsha,
Delft
, Black Heath and Imizamo Yethu.

Disaster Risk Management's Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said that no body sustained any injuries in these fires.

Solomons-Johannes also said that 19 shacks were gutted and one formal house was damaged.

The course of the fires is still not known.
