Unions are accusing parliament of not explaining the Protection of State Information Bill to people attending public hearings .
Hennie van Vuurenfrom the Right2Know Campaign explained that without proper information people cannot be expected to express an opinion.
Gugulethu township which is situated in Cape Town and Thembalethu which is in George are the first two townships that hearings were held in.
Residents that attended the hearings were more concerned about the lack of service delivery than the Bill.
