The Democratic Alliance has responded to Minister Lulu Xingwana`s briefing earlier today.
The DA says xingwana failed to answer key questions related to her department`s failure to promote and deliver on its mandate.
DA MP Helen Lamoela said that Xinwana struggled to identify five concrete ways in which the department’s monitoring and coordinating function has impacted on the lives of people with disabilities.
Lamoela also said the South African Human Rights Commission confirmed today that its legal team will be making an assessment of the DA`S case.
