Suspect arrested for having explosives in his possession

A suspect was arrested yesterday afternoon for having explosives in his possession.
The arrest came after police members were informed by the public of a suspicious person walking around in Wesbank.
Police members responded promptly to the tip off. They spotted the suspect when the suspect saw the police he walked into a yard and dropped a plastic bag into a rubbish bin.
The Police’s November Filander says when the members inspected the bag they found a hand grenade with the safety pin unbroken.
