Electricity will be restored to residents of Ratanda in Gauteng says Co-operative Governance Minister Richard Baloyi.
This follows violent protests against then high cost of electricity last week.
The service will be restored even if they are not up to date with their payments.
Various municipal buildings and houses belonging to the councillors were burnt in the protests.
