Last night a 26-year-old was arrested after he robbed a fast food outlet in Kuilsriver.
The police’s FC Van Wyk said three armed robbers got into the shop on Saturday night and locked the staff in the toilet.
Van Wyk added that two of the suspects escaped with cell phones and money, while the other one assaulted the owner.
He added that the suspect ran away when a security guard investigated.
The security guard then chased the suspect and caught him.
Van Wyk said the suspect was caught with a revolver with the serial numbers filed off.
The suspect will appear in the Kuilsriver magistrate’s court tomorrow.
Van Wyk said the police are still looking for the other two suspects.
