After a shootout with police in Parow, six men were arrested last night.
The police's November Filander said one policeman was injured during the shootout but that his condition at hospital is satisfactory.
Police were on patrol on Modderdam Road in Belhar when they saw a bakkie which looked suspicious.
The police then stopped the bakkie, checking the registration before the bakkie sped away.
It was later confirmed that the bakkie was stolen in Bellville.
Later the bakkie was spotted in the Parow industria area where three of the six men robbed a businessman.
The shootout then ensued and police arrested the six men.
