The City of Johannesburg will this week launch a substance abuse awareness campaign as part of the youth month commemorations.
The campaign will target areas such as Alexandra, Hillbrow, Riverlea and Ivory Park.
Spokesperson for the City of Johannesburg Nkosinathi Nkabinde says they want to help teenagers at risk.
Nkabinde says they want hildren to stay away from drugs and alcohol and avoid risks like the spread of HIV through the sharing of needles and drug abuse.
