Today the Metrorail Chief Executive,Mosengwa Mofi,launched Metrorail Western Cape’s Programme of Action at the Cape Town Station.
The programme entails the monitoring of service indicators in the region, communication of train times to commuters the removal of graffiti and the improvement of the Metrorail service as a whole.
Mofi emphasized that this programme will only be fully viable with the help of other partners such SAPS and Eskom, he referred to this as the Coalition of the willing.
The programme of action has already been implemented. One of the improvements has been 1 080 windows that have been fitted at R3 000 each.
