In Western Cape, the community of Botrivier in Overberg have vowed to take to the streets again if the Democratic Alliance does not provide them with basic services.
Last week two roads leading into Botrivier were closed when residents burnt tyres at the entrance.
The community says they want their ward councillor to be sacked.
A man lost his finger during the protest when police shot at them.
