Social Justice Coalition (SJC) has joined forces with Corruption Watch on a joint application to intervene in the Richard Mdluli matter.

The SJC is not only looking at corruption but also challenges communities face.

The Chairperson of the SJC Phumeza Mlungwana said the reason they took the Richard Mdluli matter is because there is always corruption and they always try to make an example.

She also said the SJC has asked the City of Cape Town to enquire in the police system and criminal justice.

Mlungwana said they do not want to take on the police, but rather to understand what is wrong, so that all the wrongs can be corrected.
