Netcare 911 paramedics and other
emergency services responded to an accident scene outside Harrismith whereby
two motor vehicles collided head-on and a third vehicle had collided into the
two vehicles.

Steinmann said two men who were trapped in the vehicle tragically lost their
lives during the accident and a man and a woman who were in the other vehicle
were injured.
Steinmann said workers had to use
the jaws of the life to execrate the men’s bodies from the remains of the
vehicle. The man and a woman who were in
the other vehicle sustained moderate injuries, and after they received
treatment on scene they were transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
“The exact details of the cause of
the accident and preceding events will be investigated by the police” added
Steinmann
