Pietermaritzburg Tracking Team together
with the South African Police Services arrested a wanted suspect who was wanted
for murder as well as robbery.
The suspect has been linked to a
murder and two business robberies in the city as well as the theft of firearm
in 1998.
He appeared in court on Monday and
will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
Captain Thulani Zwane said it is
alleged that the man was terrorizing the community of Pietermaritzburg he
approaching people and rob them.
“He also killed one person in the
area as well. He was charged with murder and robbery.” Zwane added
