A Pedestrian died in an accident on the N7 near Du Noon

ER24 paramedics responded to an accident scene on the N7 in the area of Du Noon yesterday’s evening whereby a bakkie was travelling in the direction of Goodwood and collided into the pedestrian.

ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said a 45 year-old man died after he was allegedly attempting to cross the N7 highway.

Jackson added that when they arrived on the found the remains of the man lying in the middle of the road, sadly there was nothing that could be done to save his life. He was declared deceased on the scene.

“Despite being severely traumatised the driver of the bakkie was fortunately not physical injured and he left the scene privately,” Jackson said.
