Four people shot dead in a tavern in Khayelitsa

Western Cape Police has confirmed that four people died in a shooting incident in Litha Park, Khayelitsha on Saturday night. 

It is believed that a gunman stormed into a tavern called Emaplangeni and shot randomly at customers. 

Police Spokesperson Andre Traut said circumstances surrounding the death of the four who were shot and killed in Litha Park are now being investigated by Police

“Three people died on the scene and one died in hospital, two people are still being treated in hospital,” Traut added.

He further added that the suspect fled the scene and is yet to be arrested.
