MEC Plato condemns police killings

Western Cape MEC of Community Safety Dan Plato on Thursday condemned the murder of two police officers in Philippi.

The two officers were searching a house in Siqala Informal Settlement when suspects shot at them.

MEC Plato said we cannot tolerate this kind of senseless violence in our democracy.

Ministerial Spokesperson Greg Wagner, said that MEC Dan Plato has condemned the latest attacks on police officers in the Western Cape.

Wagner concluded by urging the community to work with the police.
