The Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance has lost its bid to stop the controversial multibillion rand e-tolling project in Gauteng.

The Supreme Court of Appeal made the judgment today.

Outa Chairperson Wayne Duvenage said the fight against e-tolls will not stop, there is still a long way to go.

President Jacob Zuma signed the e-toll bill into law last month, now the project is expected to go live within a few weeks.

Duvenage added that Outa is disappointed at the judgement in the Supreme Court.

"We are however, very pleased with cost order that was overturned following the shocking judgement given by Judge Louis Forster in December." He further added.

Duvenage concluded by saying that, non-the-less they want to unpack and study this judgement.
