ER24 paramedics this morning attended to two separate incidents in and around Cape Town.

This first one was whereby a woman in her 20’s was knocked off her scooter while she was traveling on Vryburger Street.

She suffered two broken legs and was transported to the nearby hospital.

In the other incident a 6-year-old boy was knocked down by a car on his way to school in Lavender Hill.

ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said the vehicle had driven over him, he suffered a broken leg and a possible head injury and he was transported to Red Cross Children’s hospital for further care.

Jackson added that the police are still investigating the causes of both incidents.
