The Western Cape Department of
Education said it is ready for the 2013 National Senior Certificate Examinations.

Casey, said there are 4 613 more candidates writing in 2013 than in 2012.
106 examination papers will be
written and over 800 000 examination scripts to be distributed.
Meanwhile the WCED said it is well
aware that exams are stressful even for those who have worked hard constantly
during the year.

Casey said they are prepared to assist candidates needing support during this
time and school psychologists and social workers in every district are on
standby to provide counselling support as required.
